GenCon is gearing up today, with an official start tomorrow. Even if you can’t join me at the Con, though, this is a great weekend to pick up Advent if you haven’t already! It’s on a Countdown deal through the end of the day Sunday. For the next day and a half you can snag a copy for just 99¢. It won’t go back up to normal price until the wee hours of Monday morning.

Proofs requested
Third time’s the charm, so they say, and so my cover file was finally accepted. I should have a physical proof in hand in the next couple weeks, and shortly thereafter have it up for sale for everyone.

Delay
Advent of Ruin will face a slight delay, as my dumb butt forgot to account for printing bleeds when I was designing my cover. Assuming there’s nothing else I missed (and there shouldn’t be, according to the email I received), and there’s no delay after I click “publish,” it should be up tomorrow.
UPDATE 3/2/16: And then it’s been long enough since I was on a newspaper that I did the bleeds exactly wrong. Cover should be fixed this time. Incidentally – Scribus is not very good at preserving colors in PDFs. GIMP works much better, although I recommend doing your text in another editor.

Just (another) quick update
It’s Tuesday morning, which means Episode 7 of Einarr Stigandersen and the Jotünhall is now live for your enjoyment.
In other news, yesterday I finally got my manuscript submitted to CreateSpace, so there should be paperbacks available for Advent of Ruin as well as Kindle ebooks. At least to start with, I’m going to be running it in the Kindle Unlimited program. I’ll see how it’s gone after the first 90 days, and decide if I’m going to keep it exclusive or not then.
